We would like to introduce a case where our manufacturing line equipment's idling power waste reduction and preventive maintenance system were implemented for a customer operating a factory. In the factory, there were various heat-generating furnaces, and wired connections led to significant cable degradation and wear due to heat, making data collection via wired methods difficult and resulting in individual management for each site. After implementation, we utilized the wireless capabilities of the IoT gateway to gradually start data collection from areas within range of the office.
